This year’s event is being held on Sunday 8th July at Wythall Park, Silver Street, Wythall, B47 6LZ. The purpose of our Charity is to provide funding to Community Organisations & Charities around the Wythall & Hollywood, Birmingham & Solihull areas for the public benefit.
The Run is very much a community event and in order to make it a success we need your help on the day. We request that organisations applying for a donation provide a minimum of 6 volunteers and a maximum of 10 to help on the day of the event to take part in tasks such as marshalling, car park duty, registration, giving out water to the runners etc. Helpers must be over the age of 18 years. The more help the better!
Please note that for the first time this year, the amount of donation which we are able to make with be proportionate to the help you provide us with, i.e. the more help, the greater the donation.
We encourage Charities & Good Causes who are applying for funding to have a Stall at the “Fun in the Park” event to promote their cause and/or to fund raise further. We have had more applications this year and would like to be able to support as many good causes as possible.
After the event we would like a report & photographs detailing how the money has been spent to be used on our website.
The Trustees will meet shortly afterwards to discuss the applications & to decide upon the successful applicants.
